2013 Goal one




Okay so everyone makes New Years Resolutions and we all try to stick with them, but how many of us really do that? This year no resolutions for me! I decided to do goals for 2013. A goal is measurable, attainable and is realistic for someone like me. One of my biggest goals was to get my 2009 body back which is what I like to think of as my sexy self lol. I was lean, muscular and in great shape, but most importantly I was dedicated to being healthy and working out to stay in shape. So for my first 2013 goals I challenged myself to recommit to Weight Watchers, lose 20 pounds by March and do Pure Barre unlimited for 2 months. As luck would have it there was a Groupon for 2 weeks of unlimited class at $35.00 and a week later a Living Social deal for the same price. WAHOO!!  1st month was free so I had NO excuses not to get started.

Pure Barre is similar to ballet, but you don't have to be a dancer to do it. But the dancer in me gravitated to it because my body loves these kinds of workouts and Ive never really been a gym person I'm just to ADD for that. Pure Barre is a total body workout that lifts your seat, tones your thighs and burns fat in record-breaking time. Utilizing the ballet barre to perform small isometric movements set to fantastic music, Pure Barre is the fastest, most effective, yet safest way to change your body. Students see results in just 10 classes.

So I hit my first class last week and boy was I sore! But I was addicted and wanted more. Crazy right?!?! So I'm in week two and I LOVE it! Not only do you lift. tone. burn for 55-1hour straight but you are working the areas that us women have the most problem with which is: our thighs, arms, and butt. So after one solid week I am down 5 pounds and have lost 7.5 inches. Bikini here I come!  So I will definitely be continuing with pure barre and will be at the advanced level in no time!
